Notification issued to increase EOBI pension

ISLAMABAD (July 09, 2020): Notification has been issued to increase the EOBI pension. Elderly pensioners will get additional pension from August. The government had announced to increase the minimum pension from Rs 6,500 to Rs 8,500. Arrears will also be found. According to the details, before Eid, the elderly pensioners have been given the good news that a notification has been issued to increase their pension from August.
The elders will now get a minimum pension of Rs 8,500 from August. Meanwhile, the Employees Old Age Benefit Institution has announced that Rs 2.4 billion will be paid to EOBI employees in terms of dues. The government had approved an increase of Rs 2,000 in the pension of EOBI pensioners, while registered pensioners will now get a pension of Rs 8,500.
